potluck sunday

After second service on the first Sunday of every month, the Paradise congregation gathers for a potluck! We believe in koinania–in other words, food is better with fellowship, and fellowship is better with food! Please help us plan by signing up and claiming the food item you will be contributing. We look forward to trying your favorite dish!

The next Potluck Sunday will be
POTLUCK IN THE PARK!
We will meet at 1:00 p.m. on June 4th, 2023
in the northeast corner of Sunset Park,
by the volleyball courts off McLeod.
Theme: BYOBBQ!
Bring blankets & chairs,
your favorite summer sides and condiments,
and anything you’d like for the grill–
we’ll cook it there!
It’s still potluck style, so please bring enough to share. Sign up below so we can plan!

home GROUPs

Home Groups are our weekly Bible studies which take place at various locations throughout the Las Vegas valley. They provide an opportunity to study Sunday’s message more closely and to fellowship with others in a smaller, more intimate setting.

The summer Home Group cycle
will restart June 7th
and will run every Wednesday and Friday.
Locations and start times will vary.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Join either the gentlemen or the ladies for an evening of fellowship, prayer, and deep-dive discussions through the Word of God. Walk-ins are welcome! Childcare is not provided.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies are located at the church every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

(The Men’s Bible Study typically meets in the sanctuary, and the Women’s Bible Study typically meets in one of the classrooms.)

Communion Sunday

Communion is process reserved for believers to self-evaluate, repent, and remember Jesus’ great act of sacrificial love. We participate in communion by partaking in unleavened bread (symbolic of Christ’s body) and of non-alcoholic juice (symbolic of Christ’s blood) together as a church.

Communion Sunday occurs on the first Sunday of every month, at the close of each service.
